This qualification not only prepares you for university study, but also gives you the chance to apply your learning in practical ways so that you can respond collaboratively and positively to challenges in your community and society.
In this course, you will draw from your own life experiences and will study units that help you to understand the social, political and economic environments which affect and are affected by social action efforts. In addition, you will learn how to manage social action projects effectively.
Please note, as a one-off the first course is offered as a six-month condensed course and will run March-September 2020. This six-month course is suitable for people with some experience of social action, volunteering or other community work. Future courses/the second course will run for the full year, these courses will start September 2020.
