Course Overview

Designed as a two-year course of study alongside a two A-Level programme, this course is equivalent to 1 A-Level and is designed to support progression into higher education. The National Extended Certificate in Sport is assessed by exams and coursework. There are 4 units in total across the two years, with three mandatory units and one optional unit. Two of the mandatory units are externally assessed.

    Five GCSEs grade 4 and above, including English and Maths.
