Course Overview

Gain the important qualifications employers from multiple industries want. Increase your confidence and language skills as you improve your academic knowledge. The Access Foundation GCSE will see you work towards essential GCSEs, including English, maths and science.

• Entry Requirements
  There are no fixed entry qualifications for this course, and applicants may or may not have previously studied GCSEs.  Our experienced staff will consider the individual educational background, qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
  The requirement for entry is that students must have a reasonable chance of securing grade 4 or above in each of the subjects to be taken, at the end of one year of study.  Prospective students undertake Maths and English assessments during the interview process.

  Alongside your subject-specific study, you will strengthen your academic skills. You will work towards gaining good passes in five GCSEs, including English Language, maths, and science, enabling you to progress to further study or within your career.

  From this course, you can progress to an Access to HE course in preparation for university.
